Night fishing for sea trout

Tackle:
With regards to spinner fishing, the tackle is not much different from the tackle we recommend for fishing in the colder months (see the section on ”tackle”).
When it comes to fly fishing, there is a good deal to be said for using lighter tackle and the line should be a floating line, not an intermediate (sinking line) like in the wintertime.
With regards to flies, the best choice is a dark color and preferably flies that ”leave a trail” on the surface, e.g. the ”cigar.”
Tackle can be borrowed on a small scale without charge.
Depending on how clear the weather is and how much movement there is in the water, you can easily switch between the use of flies or spoons/wobblers as your lure.

Safety:
With our intimate knowledge of the coast, we will make sure that safety is foremost. We choose the site for fishing partly on the basis of the criteria for the greatest possible chance for ”fast fish” but naturally also based on which clientel we are guiding ( fly fishing / spinner fishing, number of persons in the party, mobility, etc.). Any special wishes, wind and weather and other relevant factors are, of course, included in the choice of fishing location.
In addition, we mark the area where we fish with cyalume lightsticks.
